Beautiful hanging vampire bat hand carved pendant from fossilized walrus tusk.
The material used is fossil walrus tusk from St Lawrence Island, Alaska.
The pieces of tusk were dug from the ground by Native American Yupik peoples on their
lands during the artic summer and this material is 1000-2000 years old.
These ancient materials have a range of colors that result from mineral absorption during
the centuries they have been buried. It was carved in Bali.
