CELTIC COIN REPLICA PENDANT
SSC51

This is a very unique pendant I had made for my site. I purchased a reproduction Celtic coin and had each side of the coin cast in sterling silver. This one is the Face design. The coin is also set in sterling silver.
Very unique item. You will only see this here!

This is the information on the coin:

The coin is a reproduction of a Dubnovellaunos V-Sign silver unit, struck by the Trinovantes tribe c.10BC-AD10. The Trinovantes, 'the very lively ones', occupied all of Essex and the southern part of Suffolk and later dominated the whole region north of the Thames. Their first known ruler was Mandubracios, a young prince whose father had been killed by Cassivellaunos and who fled to Caesar for help. Coins were minted at their capital, Camulodunon, 'fort of Camulos' (Colchester). Reference: Van Arsdell 1663.
