The whole ring is .925 sterling silver with a silver  (cast from an original Celtic coin)  triple tailed horse or face design. These two designs came from 1 coin  that I made moulds of. Some Info. on the Celtic coin  (thanks Liz)

The coin is a reproduction of a Dubnovellaunos V-Sign silver unit, struck by the Trinovantes tribe c.10BC-AD10. The Trinovantes, 'the very lively ones', occupied all of Essex and the southern part of Suffolk and later dominated the whole region north of the Thames. Their first known ruler was Mandubracios, a young prince whose father had been killed by Cassivellaunos and who fled to Caesar for help. Coins were minted at their capital, Camulodunon, 'fort of Camulos' (Colchester). Reference: Van Arsdell 1663.
